Crystal Cruises announces 2012 World Cruise; highlights three-day China adventure and more overnight calls
The 94-day 2012 World Cruise has just been announced by Crystal Cruises. On a rare course round-trip from Los Angeles departing January 18, 2012, Crystal’s 17th annual World Cruise will visit 35 ports in five segments, with multiple overnight stays on Crystal Serenity’s route through Hawaii, the South Pacific, eastern and western Australia, Indonesia, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Russia, Alaska, British Columbia and San Francisco. | CPR’S SECOND QUARTER RESULTS |

Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. brought in $1.2 billion in revenue in the second quarter, a 20 per cent increase, as almost all of its major business segments showed improvements over the same time last year. Grain transport was the only one of seven business segments at Canadian Pacific to show any drop in revenue, and the decline was a relatively small $10 million. Meanwhile... [Full text and pictures]

| WINNIPEG AIRPORT REPORTS SECOND QUARTER RESULTS |

For a three month period ending June 30, 2010, approximately 823,300 passengers passed through the Winnipeg Airport terminal, representing a 0.2 per cent decrease over the same period in 2009. Revenues were $19.6 million for the second quarter, compared to $18.4, representing an increase of 6.5 per cent for the same period in 2009. Operating costs were $9.0 million for the quarter, an increase of 8.4 per cent from the previous year. The net income was $6.9 million for the quarter ($8.8 million in2009). |

Expansion 2012 at Edmonton International Airport is on time and under budget
Over 480,000 square feet of space has been added to Edmonton International Airport (EIA) since the airport’s massive expansion got underway in 2009. According to EIA authorities, the expansion is also on time, under budget and not compromising passengers’ experience. A project that employs up to 800 construction workers per day would normally create headaches for travellers, but that isn’t the case at EIA.
