Tourism Malaysia bids farewell to vice-president Haris Hadi; welcomes Kausar Kassim to the role Haris Hadi, vice-president, Canada, Tourism Malaysia, has completed his four year term and is has handed the reigns over to the office’s first ever female vice-president, Kausar Kassim. Hadi will return to the Tourism Malaysia head office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the night of June 30, 2010. Kassim will lead Tourism Malaysia Canada for the next four years, based in Vancouver. The Canadian Press A week after storms resulted in flooding across the southern Prairies, the Trans-Canada Highway is finally close to being reopened near Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. Final preparations are being made on the eastbound lanes at the Alberta-Saskatchewan boundary, with the plan being to open the road to two-way traffic sometime on Saturday.
