Last night HelloWestTravel.com attended Boomerang and Exotik’s product launch at Langara Golf Course in Vancouver. The event highlighted the release of their new 2010/2011 brochures after guests enjoyed an “aussie barbeque.” Michael Mullin, business development manager, western Canada, Boomerang and Exotik, revealed the new Boomerang brochure, which features a new format, more FIT packages, a focus on unique packages and dates to March 2011. New services from WestJet for winter 2010/2011 unveiled; increased seasonal flights from western gateways to Honolulu, Cancun and more
WestJet today unveiled its winter schedule for 2010/2011, featuring three new destinations (New Orleans, Grand Cayman and Santa Clara, Cuba from Toronto), 10 new routes and expanded service on more than 30 others. Beginning in November, WestJet will launch new seasonal, non-stop service between the following cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina and Montego Bay, Jamaica; and Calgary and Varadero, Cuba. The Thai government has unexpectedly extended a state of emergency in the capital and 18 provinces in the wake of anti-government demonstrations that pushed the country close to chaos. The special law was lifted in five provinces.
