This morning, an exclusive airside tour of the construction progress was held on the largest airport development program in Edmonton International Airport’s (EIA) history. This is the first airside photo opportunity of EIA’s massive Expansion 2012 project, which began in fall 2009. The face of EIA is changing significantly as crews enclose the terminal and begin work on the new control and office tower. As the lead for Expansion 2012, Paul Garbiar, vice-president, infrastructure and technology, explained various features of the construction and expansion. |
