Three new seasonal non-stop services announced from WestJet: Regina to Phoenix, Saskatoon to Phoenix and Edmonton to Orlando
WestJet announced today it will launch new non-stop seasonal service this winter between Regina, Saskatchewan, and Phoenix, Arizona. From December 18, 2010, until April 30, 2011, guests will be able to fly non-stop between Regina and Phoenix once weekly on Saturdays. The aircraft will leave Regina at 6 a.m. and arrive in Phoenix at 8:02 a.m. (local times). The return flight leaves Phoenix at 9:35 a.m. and arrives in Regina at 1:33 p.m. [Full text and pictures]

| JAL & VN EXPAND CODESHARE |

JAL and VN expand codeshare; offers flights between Nagoya and Ho Chi Minh as well as between Toyko and Hanoi
Japan Airlines (JAL) and Vietnam Airlines (VN) will expand the scope of their bilateral agreement from October 1, 2010, to again offer VN-operated codeshare flights between Nagoya (Chubu) and Ho Chi Minh, as well as between Tokyo (Narita) and Hanoi. Reservations and ticket sales will start tomorrow, August 5. From October 1, JAL and VN will be able to collectively offer codeshare flights on eight routes that effectively connect vital gateways in Japan: Tokyo (Narita), Osaka (Kansai), Nagoya (Chubu) and Fukuoka, with both Vietnamese cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. |
