Mexicana continues to operate Vancouver-Mexico City route on another flight; reports on progress made with its pilots’ & flight attendants’ unions
As of August 11, 2010 at 15:30 CDT Mexico City, Mexicana Airlines (CMA) has announced the following itinerary changes. Apologizing for any inconveniences the following changes may cause passengers (see table below), Mexicana’s website, and twitter postings, restate that priority will be given to unaccompanied minors, passengers travelling with children under the age of three and special needs passengers. Cathay Pacific Airways and Travelport announce a marketing agreement that will provide all Galileo, Apollo and Worldspan-connected travel agents with efficient access to the airline’s fares and content. The five-year deal provides Travelport’s extensive network of travel agency customers worldwide access to Cathay Pacific’s fares and inventory of flights, with full booking functionality. Trafalgar Tours has announced that Ned Ambrus has joined the Canada team as Sales Manager for the Alberta region. Ambrus was previously the sales manager for preferred accounts at Gap Adventures for the past two years. Her sales territory included Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Ambrus was also their Calgary concept store manager beginning in 2007. She spent nine years as a travel agent at Denman Travel, Creative Travel and Trek Holidays. “As Ned joins our team, Trafalgar is delighted to gain a Sales Manager with 12 years experience in the travel industry. System-wide seat sale announced by WestJet; book by Aug. 19 for travel until Dec. 15, 2010
WestJet announced today that they are having a fall and winter seat sale. This is a system-wide seat sale with all 71 destinations in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean available for sale until August 19 for travel on select days until December 15, 2010. WestJet launched its everyday low fare approach on June 17, 2010, based on research which indicated guests would like the opportunity to more confidently book further out in the schedule in order to more effectively make travel plans.
