Daily Vancouver-Tokyo service doubled by Air Canada with launch of non-stop flights to Haneda Airport
Air Canada announced yesterday that it is boosting service to Tokyo by adding a new daily, non-stop flight between Vancouver and Haneda Airport, conveniently located near the Japanese capital. Flights operated by Grupo Mexicana subject to changes as of midnight tonight; affects routes between Mexico City and Vancouver
In a recent release by Mexicana, the airline said that as part of the temporary phasing out of flights announced by Grupo Mexicana on Sunday, Aug. 8, flights operated by all three of the group’s airlines will be subject to changes as of midnight, Wednesday, Aug. 18 (tonight). Please note that no destinations will be cancelled as a result of the changes scheduled to come into effect tomorrow although fewer flights will be available on certain routes. The release stated... | WESTJET BRINGS GRASSHOPPER ON FLIGHTS |

WestJet and Calgary-based Big Rock Brewery are teaming up to make Big Rock's Grasshöpper wheat ale available for purchase on board all flights with bar service effective now. Grasshöpper, which won a gold medal at the 2009 Canadian Brewing Awards, is a Kristall Weizen German-style wheat ale that is delicately hopped and delivers a bright finish. One of Big Rock's most popular beers, Grasshöpper will be sold in cans on all WestJet flights with bar service, over two hours.

Steve Bridge joins Trafalgar Tours as sales manager for B.C. and the Yukon
Trafalgar Tours has announced that Steve Bridge has joined the Canada Team as sales manager for B.C. and the Yukon. Steve joins the Trafalgar Sales Team after working with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Torch Relay Team, where he had the experience of travelling from coast to coast with the torch. Prior to this, Steve showed travellers around Europe as a Trafalgar Tour Director for five years.
