Thomas Cook product launch attracts superhero clientele Janice Strong
 |
| Jennifer Kroll, Superman, Sonia Machado, Sunquest | | Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Wonder Woman and the Incredible Hulk swooped into the Thomas Cook product launch at the Hyatt Regency in Vancouver on August 21, where hundreds of local agents and industry insiders walked the aisles and networked with Thomas Cook suppliers. At a pre-show V.I.P. reception, Lars Lofgren, president Sunquest and Holiday House declared this an important year for the Thomas Cook Group. It is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Thomas Cook, who first started organized excursions way back in 1841. Today, the company has brands in 18 markets, selling travel to 18 million passengers every year to 2,000 destinations. Encore CruiseEscapes welcomes Hurtigruten and AMAWATERWAYS to its line-up. You’ll be able to book Hurtigruten, formerly Norwegian Coastal Voyage, in September and AMAWATERWAYS in October.
