| Bob Nicholas | | Armstrong Group, owner and operator of Rocky Mountaineer Vacations, announced the appointment of Bob Nicholas as Vice President, Sales and Hubert (Hub) Wat as Vice President, Marketing. Originally from British Columbia, Nicholas brings more than 23 years of experience in senior sales, marketing and business development from companies such as Pillsbury, General Mills and ConAgra Foods Grocery to the position. Raised in British Columbia, Wat has more than 20 years of senior marketing experience. Prior to joining the company, he was vice president, corporate marketing for eight years at The Forzani Group Ltd., which owns and operates retail chains such as Sport Chek, Sport Mart and Coast Mountain Sports. Addison Shows continue to build across Canada
First Western Canada, then Central Canada and now the Prairies. The Addison Travel Trade Shows are bringing their own brand of networking, education and hospitality to Winnipeg, October 14, Regina October 15 and Saskatoon October 16. Building on the first two successful series of shows, where more than 2,900 agents attended nine shows, Addison hits the Prairies with new exhibitors and new venues. “We’re really happy with the attendance at the first two series of shows,” says Rex Armstead, president Addison Travel Marketing. “Even with new venues we had a large turnout in Toronto and London, and agents filled the Palais de Congres in Montreal as usual.”

Cathay Pacific now offering Disney fun packs
Cathay Pacific Airways announced the launch of a new range of Disney fun packs, available on the majority of Cathay Pacific flights for youngsters aged three to eight. The fun packs come in two different designs: the Ratatouille fun pack featuring the food-loving rodent and friends on flights from Canada to Hong Kong; and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fun pack on flights departing Hong Kong for Canada. Each pack contains a collection of games including stationery, books, stickers and games all contained in a satchel that kids can take home. “Our young passengers are just as important as our grown-up ones and we aim to ensure they are kept entertained on their journey with us,” said Cathay Pacific’s catering manager North America, Peter Ho.
