Jamaica Tourist Board celebrates launch of non-stop services from YVR Janice Strong

Edmund Bartlett, Minister of Tourism, Jamaica; Carrole Guntley, Director General Jamaica Ministry of Tourism | | 'One Love' was the theme as the Jamaica Tourist Board hosted 120 travel agents, media and tour operators to a dinner celebrating the launch of non-stop air service from Vancouver to Jamaica on October 16 at the Sutton Place Hotel. “This flight is initially a winter flight, but we are working to extend it to summer.” said the Hon. Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica's Minister of Tourism. “We are asking you to support it, not as a winter flight, but as a year-round flight.” That sentiment was echoed by representatives from Air Canada Vacations, Sandals, SuperClubs, Sunquest, Total Vacations, WestJet Vacations and Transat Holidays/Nolitours.
