Cruise Holidays of Vancouver named top producing store, wins award for third straight year

For the third straight year, they have earned this award which is given to the store with the highest sales revenue during the previous year, from July to June. Lim and Lambert were honoured with the award during the 2008 Cruise Holidays Annual Convention being held aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines’ “Norwegian Pearl”, this week. “Denis and Blaine epitomize the best of business leadership and entrepreneurship," said Peter D. Thomson, Vice President and COO of Cruise Holidays. "They have developed a business model that incorporates the cutting-edge technology and personal service excellence to continue growing their business in uncertain economic times."

| CRUISE WEST WAIVES FUEL SURCHARGE |

Cruise West offering to waive fuel surcharge for guests booking and paying in full by Dec. 12 on all 2009 Alaska cruises Cruise West is waiving the fuel surcharge on all 2009 Alaska cruise itineraries for guests who book and pay in full by December 12, 2008. The waiver is applicable for all new and current bookings. Guests can save from $105 per person on a seven-night cruise to $360 for a 24-night cruise with the fuel surcharge promotion. Cruise West guests can also combine this value with early booking incentives to save additional dollars. “In this challenging economy, Cruise West wants to offer incentives to guests who book their Alaska vacation with us and have the comfort of knowing the exact price of their cruise,” said president and chief executive officer Dietmar R. Wertanzl.

Panorama Mountain prepares for skiiers; offering 35% discounts until October 30 Snowmaking for the 2008/2009 winter season at Panorama Mountain Village in B.C. is underway ahead of schedule in preparation for the opening of skiing and boarding runs on December 12. Until October 30, the resort is offering discounts of up to 35 per cent. There are no minimum or maximum stay requirements and savings apply to all lodging booked through Panorama Mountain Village.

Vail resorts begin snowmaking in preparation for winter season; announce opening days and Epic Season Pass deals
Mother Nature reminded skiers and snowboarders that ski season is just around the corner with 13 centimetres of snow in Breckenridge and Vail yesterday morning and a dusting of snow at the base areas of Beaver Creek and Keystone. Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe has received 13 centimetres of snow this month. Cold temperatures have allowed Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone to begin snowmaking in preparation for their November opening days.
