TRAVELHotNews.com Western Edition launches inaugural Awards of Merit to honour travel industry professionals in BC, AB, SK & MB
It’s nearing the end of the year, and TRAVELHotNews.com West would like to recognize the hard work of travel industry professionals across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The Awards of Merit 2007 will highlight the efforts of professionals who have gone above and beyond their call of duty in 2007.
All travel industry professionals and companies are eligible to participate in the contest.
Only travel industry professionals can nominate or vote for the finalists. All winners will receive a trophy of congratulation.
Candidates may submit their own names or those of other professionals in the network or of companies by filling out the nomination form.
All nominees for the TRAVELHotNews.com Western Edition Awards of Merit 2007 must be identified with actions or achievements related to the year 2007.

-Airline Company of the Year (charter flights and regular flights)
-Cruise Line Company of the Year
-Tourism Board of the Year
-Agency Chain or Consortium of the Year
-Other (Tourism school, computer technology, travel insurance, hotel chain etc)

Canada-wide awards for Canadian Travel Agent of the Year 2007 and Canadian Personality of the Year 2007 will also be awarded.
The Canadian travel industry will be asked to vote among the three finalists for Canadian Personality of the Year and Canadian Travel Agent of the Year in Logimonde’s three magazines:
-TRAVELHotNews.com (Canada-wide)
-THNWest.com (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba)
-Expressvoyage.ca (Québec). Each finalist will receive a trophy.
The Canadian Personality of the Year 2007 and the Canadian Travel Agent of the Year 2007 will each receive a grand trophy from ACT Communications / Logimonde Inc.
In addition, articles will be published in TRAVELHotNews.com Westerm Edotopm to celebrate all the winners.
